Leap Motion - Project Northstar
The Leap Motion Project North Star was initially an engineering prototype, designed to demonstrate Leap Motion’s advanced hand-tracking in augmented reality. While the headset was large and somewhat awkward due to its early-stage engineering nature, I worked to refine and clean up its design as much as possible. The result was a more polished, user-friendly form that still maintained the cutting-edge technology of the original prototype. With a wide field of view (over 100 degrees), high-resolution displays, and precise hand tracking, the headset empowered developers and researchers to explore natural, controller-free interaction in AR, while offering a glimpse into the future of immersive experiences.
